Please attend the first meeting of the Blue Ridge Virginians for Obama. Our meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 17, 2007, in the Garrett Room of the Colket Student Center at Roanoke College (I-81, exit 140).
Because our usual meeting day fell on Super Bowl Sunday, and because I am severely outnumbered by men, the SWVA YDs decided to make our February meeting the annual Jefferson Jackson Dinner in Richmond. U.S. Senator Barack Obama is the speaker at this February 17th event. The SWVA YDs are sponsoring a table, and I think we’ll have a great time. We’ll post an update on the success of this event at a later date.
The next meeting of the SWVA YDs will be March 4, 2007 at a location to be announced.
